In South Africa and the world, musical group come and go, and others take a long hiatus from the limelight.
Group such as Teargas, Mafikizolo, Alaska, BTS and more.
But not Kwa Zulu Natal Based Hip hop Duo ‘TheSport699’, i had a little chat with them and here is what they had to say:
Q - To those who Do not know the group, how would you introduce yourself?
1.We're are a duo from Kwazulu-Natal currently based in Johannesburg there's Careless and Bhuda Mars.
Q - If You Describe Your Sound, How Is It?
2. We do Trap music and Alternative RnB but we also do any sound that we feel like it's in our lane at that particular time.
Q - Which Artists In Your Circle Have You Worked With?
3. Actually we have collaborated with various artists including likes of Blxckie, Case-klowzed, Yungkiddreezy and J Clu etc but we don't have any artists we collaborate with commonly because we frequently shifts sounds based on how we feel at that particular time.
Q - Is There A Project You Dropped That Increased Your Following?
4. We haven't dropped any project as yet but the song we've dropped that got us attention has to be*CLIPPERS * Ft Yungkiddreezy and Hirosamii.
Q - Which Big Events Have You Had The Chance To Perform On?
5. At this point it has to be Streetfest and Cotton fest.
Q - Are They Any Challenges That The Group Has Gone Through?
6. We have to say they're lot of stumbling blocks in this career most of them are internal between us and other artists, there's lot of ego and gatekeeping which sometimes makes it hard and also lack of support in our early upcoming days got us lose sleep from time to time, it's not about easy journey but I would be lying if I say I don't enjoy the process.
Q - Any Projects That You Currently Working On?
7. We're working on a Pluggnb album which is a sound currently dominating in USA underground, it's trap fused with RnB, and definitely it's coming along so great.
